About Us

It all began shortly after we were married. Ted and I lived for a short time in an apartment in Macon, Georgia before moving back to the farm where I grew up in Yatesville, Georgia. We decided to renovate and move into my Great Grandmother’s house which had been uninhabited and highly neglected for most of my childhood. For me, it was a labor of love representing years of family and history that needed to be uncovered and made beautiful again. It made us happy to think about raising a family in that home on the farm, and so the project began and continued as our family grew and changed to meet our needs. It was not just a house. It was our HOME, and as we renovated it we worked hard to protect the character of our 1800’s home. It was important to save floors and ceilings that were handmade by my grandad and uncle. We wanted to save old bricks and wood beams that boast the age of the home. It was no small project, but it was totally worth it. Through this project, we realized our passion not only for restoring old homes but also our desire to work together and help others create their “HOME”. 

We are committed to making a house a HOME and giving each home character based on the needs of its family. Ted and I look forward to hearing about each family and building a house based on those lifestyle needs. We believe that a home is not just a place to reside, but it is a sanctuary where families can grow, thrive, and make memories for generations. We want to help make your dream home a reality and a place where you can live a lifetime.

Today, Ted and I are thankful for our home and all the ways our family has been blessed. Our hope is that the Lord will bless your home too and that we can be a part of building it for you.
